SymbianOne

One clever developer in the UK is working on this port of Python toSymbian OS
devices. It's a preliminary effort, however, I'm sure there's going to be some
cool stuff in the future. Most recently, the project announced that there is now a .SIS installer for UIQ
phones, and a smaller patch file, so you no longer need to download the the whole
distribution if you already have a generic Python 2.3.3 base
Currently, the Python interpreter runs and you can interactively enter Python
programs or code fragments.
Updated August 17, 2004, the most recent enhancements of the project include:
- SIS installer
- Support for command line only WINS builds
- Small distribution of source patches
