Create a drawing as I have done.

Select the Direct Selection Tool.

Select and over over the upper-right corner of the bounding box until the cursor turns into a double-ended arrow (it can be any corner you want). Now hold down the Shift+Control+Alt key until it changes into an arrowhead and drag. You may have to try this several times before you can achieve the distortion you are looking for.
