Sound Controls
Knowing how to get around the Sound tab in the Frame Properties window will facilitate the use of your audio. Below is a diagram that illustrates the various sound controls in Flash®.

(1) The Stop button. You can preview your sound in this window.

(2) The Play button.

(3) The Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons. To accurately view the end points of your sound you will need to zoom in at maximum level. The line (7) demonstrates the point where the sound ends and another loop or instance of the sound starts. Zooming in is especially important when you are using envelope points to mute or activate a looped sound. Use the Zoom Out button to see the entire sound canvas in the window.

(4) The Seconds button. You can view your sound over seconds or frames. This button allows you to view the sound over seconds as is shown in the diagram below (6).

(5) The Frames button. This button allows you to view the sound over frames.
